Dolly Parton, who was born in Locust Ridge Tenn. on the 19th of January. 19. 1946 to a humble family of 12 children at one point, realized that she was able to escape suffering through her creative mind. She quit Wagoner's act in 1974, when her solo singles such as Joshua Coat of Many Colors and Jolene outsold the collaborations.
