Summer Glau
The first TV appearance of Glau was a guest role as ballerina in a 2002 episode of the popular television show Angel. Director Joss Whedon was impressed and subsequently cast her as River Tam on his short-lived TV series Firefly. The actress also appeared in the role for the sequel Serenity. Glau had applied previously to play the Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger alyssa Erile) part in Power Rangers Wild Force, but was rejected by Jessica Rey. She played Shelly the high school senior in Sleepover. She was also featured on the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode, "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" " the second season of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girl who plays Jeremy Erhart). In 2006, Glau played Tess Doerner as a paranoid schizophrenia returnee in season two's premiere of The 4400, and became a recurring character from season three onwards. She also starred in the horror-comedy film Mammoth. Glau was also part of ABC Family TV's film The Initiation of Sarah. Glau played Cameron Phillips in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. The series premiered on January 13 and 13 January 2008. The seventh episode of the series, "The Demon Hand" included scenes where Glau (as Cameron) dances ballet. Glau also played Allison Young (Cameron’s human doppelganger ) in the second season episodes, "Allison of Palmdale" and “Born to Run". Glau was also a guest on herself in the episode of 2009 of the CBS situation comedy The Big Bang Theory
